Connecting Finance,
Neuroscience & Leadership

About Minds & Values
Hi!
I’m Julie, and I’ve always believed that finance is as much about people as it is about numbers.
Early in my career in investment banking and asset management, I was struck by how often decisions are shaped not only by strategy but also by emotions, blind spots, and human dynamics. That curiosity led me to study neuroscience and psychology at King’s College London. I wanted to understand how we think, feel, and decide, and how those processes influence leadership, collaboration, and the way we build value.
Exploring finance, neuroscience, leadership, and sustainability to foster better decisions and meaningful impact through understanding the mind. Creating a reflective space for insights on risk psychology, market behaviour, and sustainable leadership for curious minds.
After years in investment banking and asset management I realised that every strategy, every market move, and every investment ultimately comes down to people: their thinking, values, and resilience.
Through this blog, I share reflections at the intersection of neuroscience and behavioural finance, exploring how human insight shapes decisions, drives impact, and informs sustainable long-term thinking. Drawing from my experience in finance, my passion for sustainable impact, and my fascination with the human mind, I reflect on the links between money and meaning, strategy and psychology, growth and awareness.
Exploring finance, neuroscience, and leadership.
